Red Orkestra

Alternative folk-rock, mixing the acoustic traditions of folk and country with rock and roll.

Red Orkestra is an Alt-Folk Rock band from Kitchener-Waterloo that consists of Johnny Charmer (vocals & guitar), Steve Parkinson (lead guitar), Neil McDonald (bass), and Rick Andrade (drums).

In 2004, Red Orkestra released their debut album "After the Wars" to critical acclaim and have since released 6 more full-length albums and 2 EPs, and have performed regularly in Canada and toured Europe 4 times, including headlining the Manta music festival in Portugal (2011) and appearing at the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany (2012).

They recently released their newest LP "Letters From Afar".
